My advice is to avoid this Creative Labs company at all costs. Apparently they think its ok for their target high end customers to wait 30 to 45 days for a replacement. How does one test broken plastic? I then asked for a cross ship since they already have my credit card number. They want me to send the card back to their office in Singapore so they can "test" it. I requested them to send me a replacement cable (HKD 10 if even that to manufacture) and they outright refused. They acted as if they couldnt be bothered with my case. I immediately contacted their customer service. ![]() Additionally the CD with the applications on it was defective. I opened the box and inspected its contents only to find the analog cable that connects the sound card to the drive bay module cracked and broken on one end (the box it came in was in perfect condition so it wasn't transit damage). Being their top gaming solution, one would have expected it to be of reasonable quality. I bought the Sound Blaster Recon3D Fatal1ty Champion (sound card with front drive bay module) for HKD $1,698 (~160 Euros / ~220 USD) directly from Creative Labs online. Just wanted to give a quick heads up and a warning to those who are having problems with the onboard sound (there seem to be several threads with similar problems and I am also having the sound stutter with the onboard sound) and thinking of getting a dedicated Creative Labs PCIe sound card. ![]()
